Project name: Bultana Farm – Pialligo
Builder: Cora Group
The Beltana Farm Restaurant is a project that’s initial inception was through a meeting many years before contruction; the brief being to bring the natural attributes of the setting into a space that sits within the context of a Truffle Farm.
The locality of the project is within an existing complex, surrounded by existing hedges and buildings, careful consideration to the overall site planning and construction was required to ensure that disturbance was kept to a minimum.
Many iterations and concepts were worked through before the final working concept was realised and through an arduous process of approvals and certification the Function Centre speaks for itself, bringing the natural qualities of the area into a space that serves as a dining and function room with vistas out to a natural landscape.
Natural Timbers, locally sourced Pialligo stone, and abundant natural light are present and key to this project as they are all elements that connect the user to the surrounding farm. The Design was to allow the building to be able to see through allowing for cross ventilation, natural light, and solar access.
Our clients Doug and Alice were involved throughout the process as well as Interior Designers Emvy Design. We believe the team of Kora, clients, Architect, and Interior Designers created a building that will be a success for Pialligo and the region.
